[BOOK] : “The extraordinary journey of the fakir who got trapped in an Ikea wardrobe”

“The extraordinary journey of the fakir who got trapped in an Ikea wardrobe”* written by a French former police officer, was published last year.
Since then, 140 000 books have already been sold and 35 countries have bought the copyrights.
The story is about an Indian fakir, travelling to France to buy a bed of nails… at Ikea. He then gets involved in crazy situations, in an Ikea store and all over the world. Some book reviews say it’s hilarious, others that it’s loony…

The gripping aspect of this best seller (for abrand new novelist) is not the book itself, but how the initial idea grew and motivated the author to write it.
Whatever “the fakir-author” says and thinks about Ikea, what a luck for a store to be used as a setting for a book!

Is the book displayed in Ikea stores? May be not, but It contributes to the brand’s notoriety.
