Intermarché and Dia adopted it; Auchan and Monoprix are testing the concept of “pedestrian drive”
This is actually an hybrid version of home delivery principle and of a collecting point.
In the “walk in” area you can pick up your purchase ordered online, sometimes with a rented trolley.
An initiative to cut logistics constraints down and make better places : at the end of the line, a customer is a always a pedestrian.
And if walking back home, one can find funny traffic light…
